Excursion – Historic Handorf & Adelaide Hills.

We discovered the Old World beauty and charm of southern Australia during this memorable, half-day excursion to historic Handorf.
Mt. Lofty Lookout
We departed the pier for a short orientation drive through Adelaide City before ascending the 2,300-foot-high Mt. Lofty. Upon arrival at the Mt. Lofty Lookout, take in superb panoramic vistas (weather permitting) over the city center.

After our our photo stop here, we re-boarded our coach and continued into the countryside, passing by the market gardens and orchards of theAdelaide Hills to Handorf.

Handorf & Free Time
Acclaimed as the best-known and most interesting town in this region, the German-style village of Handorf was settled by
Prussian Lutheran emigrants in 1839; today, it graces numerous postcards due to its charm and history. Magnificent chestnut
and elm trees line Handorf’s main street, which features original buildings that have been carefully restored to their original
glory. Upon arrival, free time is made available for you to browse and photograph the village’s many charming craft shops,
restaurants, and boutiques at your leisure.
